Visa

Swedish customs restrictions and visa legislation follow the European Union and Schengen Treaty. A visa granted by any of the Schengen members will also be valid for visits to Sweden. Countries whose nationals require a visa is updated on the website of the Swedish Migration Agency

How to get to the venue

Located in the city centre, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre (or Svenska Mässan) is easily accessible by bus, train and car.

From the aiport

The nearest airport is Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport located at about 20 Km from Gothenburg. The Flygbussarna airport coaches connect the airport to the Svenska Mässan and Gothia Tower in approximately 20 minutes. Buses depart just outside the airport, the nearest stop to the venue is Korsvägen located opposite to the Svenska Mässan and Gothia Tower. Bus ticket is 95 SEK (online)/105 (onsite) one way, and 185 SEK (online)/195 SEK (onsite) return. Tickets can be purchased on-line (https://www.flygbussarna.se/), inside the airport, in the ticket machine next to the bus stop, or directly on the bus (by credit card only).

From the Central Station

You can reach Gothenburg just in few hours by train from major Scandinavian cities (Stockholm, Copenhagen Oslo, Malmö…)

Two trams connect Gothenburg Central Station to  Svenska Mässan and Gothia Tower: tram 2 (for Krokslätt) or tram 4 (for Mölndal) till stop Korsvägen right opposite the Svenska Mässan and Gothia Tower. All tickets and travelling cards can be purchased at any of the public transport operator Västtrafik’s  as well as at the Tourist Centre. It is possible to purchase single tickets on board (payment by card only). 1 day ticket costs 95 SEK, 3 days ticket costs 190 SEK, single ticket (90 minutes) costs 30 SEK More information at https://www.vasttrafik.se/en/

Arriving by car

E6/E20 (from the north) and road 45 (from Karlstad): On arriving in Gothenburg, turn off when you see the sign “Mässan Scandinavium Liseberg”. Take the first exit on the left, then turn right on to Örgrytevägen and then take the next right exit for the hotel.
E6/E20 (from the south) and road 40 (from Borås): On arriving in Gothenburg, turn off when you see the sign “Mässan Scandinavium Liseberg”. Take the second exit on the right for the hotel.
